TIMBREL VAULT WORKSHOP

Play Architecture conducted a 10-day hands-on workshop at CARE School of Architecture, Trichy, exploring timbrel vault construction.
Students and faculty collaborated in designing and building full-scale prototypes, gaining practical experience in structural innovation and traditional craft techniques reinterpreted for contemporary architecture

DEVADHARE PAVILION WINS AT SPECIAL JURY AWARD AT WAF 2022
Play Architecture’s Devadhare Dining Pavilion received the Special Jury Award for Small Project of the Year at the World Architecture Festival 2022.
The project was recognised for its innovative large-span timbrel vault, demonstrating structural experimentation and a sensitive dialogue with the natural landscape.
